At Lilac Green, our main focus is to create beautiful, harmonious and unique arrangements that bring joy. Each piece is created by our owner and florist, Rachel.

Rachel had started her career in floral design at the age of 17 and had worked her way from a trainee just cutting greenery to Assistant Creative Floral Design Manager at The Savoy Hotel in London. For over 16 years, Rachel has dedicated her time and energy in to creating and perfecting the art of floral design. Working throughout Australia and overseas in luxury florists and hotels including The Savoy in London - Rachel has created designs for many celebrities, politicians, famous musicians and royalty.
Her main focus in creating your bespoke arrangements is colour, form, flow and most importantly, making sure each one is a “banger”! The idea is to create a garden explosion that takes your breath away. Each of these ‘gardens’ is a piece of living art - no two are the same.
When not creating your beautiful arrangements, Rachel likes to potter in her garden, growing flowers, herbs and vegetables - some of which are used in her designs. She likes to collect all of the lovely things nature has to offer: crystals, corals, plants and branches. Her favourite flowers are lilac, sweet peas, lily of the valley, roses and anything with unusual colouring or details like speckled petals in roses or fringed tulips. Her specialty is “colourful pastels” - a combination of lots of different, harmonious colours in softer tones with pops of bright accent flowers.

We take immense pride in the beautiful flowers we produce – we personally hand-pick our fresh flowers, design and deliver directly to you. We deliver in Brisbane and the surrounds.
